it is when a body is moving in a circular path and the way it is moving in a circular path.it is always directed to its centre where the magnitude of the centrifugal force is constant.the formula for it is,
F=mac=mv square/r with respect to its radius of curvature.
where "ac" is the centripetal acceleration.
r is radius of curvature.
