What is centrifugation?

Answer :

Centrifugation : It is a method which is used to separate the fine particles suspended in a liquid. by rotating the mixture at a high speed.

It is done with the help of a machine called centrifuge.

Here, the heavier particles settle down at the bottom of the container and the lighter one stay at the top.

Examples - separating cream from milk, separating butter from cream.
