Centrifugation is the method of seperating solids from liquids where the mixture is homogeneous . This is also called churning
An apparatus called centrifuge is used for this purpose. The mixture is placed in centrifuge tube and rotated at high speed and the dense particles move towards bottom and the light particles floats.
Cream is seperated from milk by this process.
