Centrifugation is the process where a mixture is separated through spinning by using centrifugal force. 
It is used to separate skim milk from whole milk, in the washing machine to squeeze the majority of water from your clothes and also in laboratories to separate the components of your blood(red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets) from the plasma.
