Cephalization and it's uses:
- Cephalization is an important process of central nervous system in which the hardening or the deposition of calcium takes place.
- It plays a very significant role in the quick voluntary movements to either find prey, or avoid being a prey.
- The nervous tissue becomes concentrated at one end of the organism over many generations.
- This process eventually produces the head regions with the sensory organs. It is a type of evolutionary process in the organisms.
- This process is also tied to the development of the interior brain in the chordates from the notochord.
