Answer :-
Heat Energy -
The kinetic energy due to random motion of the molecule of a substance is called as heat energy.
S.I. unit - Joule (J)
C.G.S. unit - Calorie (cal)
Relationship between C.G.S. and S.I. unit of heat -
1 Calorie = 4.186 J or 4.2 J(approx.)
1 kilo- calorie = 1000 calorie = 4200 J(approx.)
1 J = 0.24 cal

The heat capacity of a body is the amount of heat required to raise its temperature by 1°C or 1 K.
Heat capacity of a body when expressed for unit mass is called specific heat capacity.
The quantity which determines the flow of heat between two bodies when the two are in contact, is known as temperature.
