Mr. Mertin S Keith was the tutor to Hellen for Maths and classics when she was preparing for entry to Radcliff. Mr. Keith was an exceptionally paitent teacher, who dealt with Keller with a lot of paitence, who fac ed many difficuties in the subject because of her blindness.
He had a different perspective of teaching and taught Heller in a very unique way, so as to change her approach towards any problems.
While Heller faced many problems in qualifying for Maths in Radcliff because of her inability to comprehend mathematical numbers in braille, Mr. Keith showed immense paitence with her, and Hellen came out with flying colours.
