Chemical equilibrium:-
The state of a reversible reaction in which the speeds of forward and reverse reactions are same is called chemical equilibrium.
K is equilibrium constant.
Main characteristics of chemical equilibrium:-
1) Speed of processes in both the direction are equal and opposite.
2) Reaction doesn't attain completion in any direction.
3) Amounts of products and reactants are constant in equilibrium mixture.
4) Equilibrium state changes due to variation in temperature, pressure and concentration.
5) Presence of catalyst doesn't change the equilibrium state
6) System has minimum energy at equilibrium.

Chemical equilibrium occurs when the concentration of reactants and products taking part in a chemical reaction shows no net change over time
it is also called a '"steady state reaction"
