The tendency to lose or gain electron to complete their outermost orbit is called chemical reactivity of elements. Greater the tendency to lose electron, more will be the reactivity of metals. Similarly, greater the tendency to gain electron more will be the tendency of non metal.
The most reactive metal is Potassium (K) and least reactive metal is Gold(Au).
