Answer:
The term “child labour” is often defined as work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential and their dignity, and that is harmful to physical and mental development. It refers to work that is mentally, physically, socially or morally dangerous and harmful to children. Some injuries or illnesses from hazardous work might cause a permanent disability but very often the causes of child labor can be seen not until in adulthood. Besides immediate injuries, skin problems, impaired growth and malnutrition, child labor links to poverty, lack of education and poor health. Child labor also affects the overall social development of children, since they do not get to spend time with others their own age or even enough time with family members. Children need to build personal positive relationships in order to thrive and feel confident. Without an education, children grow up without the skills they need to secure employment, making it more likely that they'll send their own children to work someday. This cycle must end. Stopping child labor creates a better world for children and adults.
