The chloralkali process (also chlor-alkali and chlor alkali) is an
industrialprocess for the electrolysis of sodium chloride. It is the technology used to produce chlorine and sodium hydroxide (lye/caustic soda), which are commodity chemicals required by industry.

gaivikapoor19: the chlor alkali process iss an industrial process in which electrolysis of concentrated solution of Sodium chloride [also known as brime] is done . From this reaction we get 3 industrially important products , namely Hydrogen gas (H2) , Chlorine gas (Cl2) and Sodium hydoxide (NaOH).
