chlorofluorocarbons are the compounds containing carbon, chlorine and fluorine this compounds are used as an insulating material in air conditioner and refrigerator. chlorofluorocarbons are also used in shaving form and cleaning agent this chemical compounds cfcs reacts with the ozone gas and leads to the depletion of the Ozone layer and formation of holes in it.
