hello

may you like the answer

A choke is basically an inductor. It is used when you want to limit an alternating current without increasing the resistance of the circuit, which could lead to heat dissipation. One example of such a use is the choke used in fluorescent lamps.

In an RL circuit, the phase difference between the current and voltage depends on the ratio of the inductor’s reactance and resistance. More precisely, the phase of the current with respect to the voltage is given by:

θ=arctan(ωL/R)

well I don't believe the formula really helped . but technically speaking reducing the resistance is not what a choke coil is actually made for. it is an inductor, that'd right. this means a buffer urgent always keeps running through it even after power supply is cut. so, this property is used to reduce the fluctuations in light due to the varying ac

anthonyhowardstark: well it should be buffer current not urgent . my bad
nandita335167: ok
