What is chromatic aberration? Why if we sprinkle water in our specs show blurred images??

The effect produced by the refraction of different wavelengths of light through slightly different angles, resulting in a failure to focus.
This is Chromatic Aberration.
When light passes through water, it's angles change,thus leading to Chromatic Aberration which causes blurry vision...

Lazarus: That's why achromatic abberation or bifocal lens are used as a remedy for this.
