Chromoplast is a type of plastid which is found only in plant cells.

These plastids are responsible for providing specific colour to different parts of a plant.

Chromoplast for instance are known as coloured plastids as they are responsible for providing different colours to the flowers of a plant.

Take another plastid, like Chloroplast. This is responsible for providing the green colour to the leaves.

There ya go...Hope it helps!!

Explanation:

Chromoplasts are plastids, heterogeneous organelles responsible for pigment synthesis and storage in specific photosynthetic eukaryotes.[1] It is thought that like all other plastids including chloroplasts and leucoplasts they are descended from symbiotic prokaryotes.
