Chromosomes are structure in which DNA is densly packed ....probably chromosome have 2 kinetochore(but it varies)....chromosomes are basically found in nucleus of cell.....

ANSWER....
Chromosome is a thin thread like structure present in nucleus. there are total 46 chromosome or 23 pairs of chromosome in human. the genetic material DNA in the form of chromosome from male and female gametes combines together to form a zygote but amount of DNA does not get doubled.
