When a body is moving along a circular path,it is said to be a circular motion.Rotatory motion occurs when a body is rotating on its own axis.When a body like giant wheel rotates,the seats in the giant wheel is in a circular motion.

rotating means spinning but circular motion means forming a circle by the motion

eg. rotation of earth means rotating

and revolution means circular motion around . sun
