According to Marx,class struggle arises because of the economic conflict between the industrial class and the working class population.It is evident that industrial owners hire workers or working class to work in their factories or companies and pay them much less than their productive value in the industry compared to the revenue that they earn.This is one of the profit maximizing behaviors of the industrialists which leads to economic exploitation and impoverishment of the working class population.Therefore,there is a sharp class difference in the society with one class being increasingly rich and the other,poor or destitute.With the popularity of Marx's book Das Capital,the concept of class struggle gained gradual momentum.
