Heya Friend,
Here Is your answer.

All living things are identified and categorized on the basis of thier body design in form of function. This division of organism on the basis of thier CHARACTERISTICS is called CLASSIFICATION.
BASIS OF CLASSIFICATION
• CELL DESIGN : whether the organism is EUKARYOTIC or PROKARYOTIC organisms. They two are different from each other as thier nucleus and other demarcated nucleas and other organelles would need to have thier biochemical pathways organised in very different ways. so, this have a very different cell design.
• On the basis that the cells occur singly or are they grouped together and do they live as an indivisible group. That is, whether the organisms are MULTI-CELLULAR or UNICELLULAR ORGANISMS. this also make difference in BODY DESIGN.
• Whether the Organisms produce thier own food through photosynthesis or not., i.e., the organisms are HETEROTROPHIC or AUTOTROPHIC.
• LEVEL OF ORGANISATION in organisms.,i.e., whether they have., CELLULAR, TISSUE or ORGAN level of classification.
• On the basis of how does the individual's body devolop and organise its different parts, and what are the specialized organs found for different functions.
Hope it helps..!!
