Sandy soil : it is the soil that is made up of larger, coarse particles which do not stick to each other. it contains soil with a diameter of 0.02to2.0 mm. it comprises 60%of sand .
clayey soil: it is the soil that that contains soil particles with a diameter of less than 0.2mm. as they are smaller in size they are tightly packed and have poor air circulation. these soil can retain much water amount and are also nutrient rich.
Loamy soil : it is the soil that contains a good mixture of sand ,clay and humus. it has good water retention capacity and air circulation is sufficient.
