Now coagulation means precipitation of a colloid...which means that a colloid is broken down by some means...it is also called flocculation...
Some methods for this process are
1)dialysis in excess
2)addition of large amount of electrolyte
3)boiling of colloid
4)mixing 2 oppositely charged colloids
