A coalition government is a cabinet of a parliamentary government in which multiple political parties cooperate, reducing the dominance of any one party within that "coalition". The usual reason for this arrangement is that no party on its own can achieve a majority in the parliament.

A coalition government is that government which is formed if no party wins a clear majority. Means no party have getted clear votes or two party are having same number of seats than they can form coalition government

Example : coalition government in jammu and kaahmir ( mahabooba mufti government and BJP government)
