a codon is a group of 3 nucleotide bases which code for an amino acid...

ex. UUU codon codes for amino acid Phenylalanine...

Codon are nothing but nitrogen bases ie nucleotide in gene for amino acids
Group of three codon is called triplet codon
Ex ATU UUU AAT etc
