Combustion is a chemical process in which a substance reacts rapidly with oxygen and gives off heat. The original substance is called the fuel, and the Combustible substance : Substances that burn easily or catch fire easily are called combustible substances. Paper, clothes, wood, LPG are all combustible substances. Without these substances, a fire cannot be started.
Non combustible substance: the substances that will not ignite or burn and will not catch fire easily. Example: wood

Answer:
Combustion, or burning, is a high-temperature exothermic redox chemical reaction between a fuel and an oxidant, usually atmospheric oxygen, that produces oxidized, often gaseous products, in a mixture termed as smoke.
Substance that burn in air and tend to produce heat and light are known as combustible substances. For combustion it is necessary to have fuel, heat and air. On the other hand, non-combustible substances are the substances that do not undergo combustion in the presence of air. For example, stone, glass, iron nails etc.
