The Fire Triangle. Three things are required in proper combination before ignition and combustion can take place---Heat, Oxygen and Fuel. There must be Heat (ignition temperature) to start and continue the combustion process.

What is combustion?

=>The Process in which the energy is given off in the form of heat or light when substance is burn in presence of oxygen is called Combustion.

Types of Combustion:-

There are three type if Combustion,

◆Rapid Combustion:-

It is a type of Combustion in which large amount of heat and light is evolved in a short period of time.

◆Slow Combustion:-

A Combustion reaction in which energy is released very slowly is called Slow Combustion.

◆Spontaneous Combustion:-

It is a type of combustion in which no external heat is given to start it.

For example :- Combustion of yellow Phosphorous

No heat is provided to it to start Combustion it start burning at its own will the help of heat present in Room.

Essential Condition for Combustion are :-

●Presence of Oxygen

●Presence of highly combustible substance

●Suitable Temperature

●Ignition temperature of Fuel.
