Answer:

the associative and commutative properties are laws applied to addition and multiplication that always exist. The associative property states that you can re-group numbers and you will get the same answer and the commutative property states that you can move numbers around and still arrive at the same answer.

Commutative is in the form of a+b= b+a

Associative is in the form of a+(b+c)= (a+b)+c

in commutative property and associative property the order doesn't matter.

example of commutative property: 2+4 = 4+2

example of associative property:. 3+(4+5)= (3+4)+5
