Complex = It is followed by 2 verbs , 1 dependant and 1 independent clause

Compound = It is also followed by 2 verbs , 1 dependant and 1 independent clause

but the difference is that compound contains FANBOYS i.e f=for, a=and, n=nor, b=but, o=or , y=yet, s=so
