it is a two gene inheritance .

A single phenotype is controlled by two genes present either on the different loci of the chromosome or on same loci of two non- homologous chromosomes . the dominant trait is expressed when both of them are present or when only one of them is present .

Example :- flower colour of Lathyirus odoratus (sweet pea)
