A whole number that can be divided evenly by numbers other than 1 or itself. Example: 9 can be divided evenly by 3 (as well as 1 and 9), so 9 is a composite number.

the numbers which have factors other than 1/which is not a prime number/which can be divided by the numbers other than 1. ex:4,6,8...........
4-can be divided by 2,4,1.
6-can be divided by 2,3,6,1.
8-can be divided y 1,2,4,8.
4-can be divided by 2,4,1.
6-can be divided by 2,3,6,1.
8-can be divided y 1,2,4,8.
