• 1. Provision for crop insurance against drought, flood etc. was made.
• 2. Kisan Credit Card was made available.
• 3. Personal Accident Insurance Scheme (PAISA) was launched.
• 4. Special weather bulletins were broadcasted.
• 5. Govt. also announced Minimum Support Price (MSA) for agricultural produce.
