Concave mirror refers to the mirror whose reflecting surface is towards the center of curvature
Center of curvature Lies behind the mirror in convex and
Lies in front of the mirror in concave
Convex is Diverging mirror whereas Concave is Converging mirror
Convex is used as Rear view mirrors in cars and bikes.
Concave is uses as Reflectors in projectors, searchlights etc.

When an object is near a plane mirror, the image is erect, virtual and of the same size at the object. A concave mirror gives a magnified and erect image of a nearby object whereas a convex mirror gives an erect and diminished image. For the rear view mirror in a car.
