What is concentration circle?

Concentration circle is a circle that lie in the same plane and has the same center. Similarity transformations are the composition of rigid, or isometric, transformations with one or more dilation.

How can similarity transformations be used to prove that all circles are similar?

First, you've to translate by circle A so that center A maps onto the center B, but it creating concentric circles.

Then, you dilate circle A by the factor of R/r.

\displaystyle BP=n*A'P

\displaystyle N=\frac{BP}{A^*P}

Here it is a picture of concentration circle.
