concurrent force system, all forces pass through a common point. In the previous case involving the application of two forces to a body, it was necessary for them to be colinear, opposite in direction, and equal in magnitude for the body to be in equilibrium.

Answer:
Concurrent forces are system of forces whose line of action (the direction in which a force acts) meet at a common point and there is NO net force or a resultant force due to their effect. There can be many force vectors - when their line of action is extended - will be meeting at a common point. However their is no net force out of these concurrent forces.
