Concurrent forces (plural) are two or more Forces acting at one point in space. in general we talk about concurrent forces in a plane.
we tie a string horizontally between 2 points A and B and tie a 2nd string to any point O between A and B . This second string OC is tied to a weight M. then multiple forces act at one point O. The tensions in three parts AO OB and OC are concurrent forces.
The use of concurrent forces is to find conditions to keep a body in static equilibrium.

In physics, concurrent forces are defined as forces that pass through a common point. In other words, a concurrent force system is a set of two or more forces whose lines of action intersect at a point at the same time.
