condensation can be defined as When a substance in a gaseous state gets converted into liquid state on cooling, for example, water vapour (gas) present in air gets condensed to water droplets (liquid) on coming in contact with cold surface such as walls of a tumbler containing ice, then the process is known as condensation.

More information

✍️ We know that the temperature of water vapour is higher than the surrounding air.

✍️When the molecule of the water vapour during the motion from the molecule of a and they lose their kinetic energy they lose the temperature and get converted into droplets.

✍️The energy lost by the molecule of water vapour is transferred to air molecules.

✍️Hence surrounding air become warm.

✍️So condensation of water vapour to water heats the surroundings.
