CONDITIONAL SENTENCES

Conditional sentences are those sentences which puts an condition about an action, in other words this sentences imagines hypothetical situations that may or mayn't happen.

TYPES OF CONDITIONAL SENTENCES

Below are some types of conditional sentences:-

  • Open conditional sentences :- Open conditional sentences are those sentences which place an open condition which seeks for future probability that may or mayn't happen. Example :- If it rains, the match will be cancelled.

  • Rejected conditional sentences :- Reject conditional sentences place a condition which might be fulfilled  if done in other way but at present the desired condition isn't fulfilled. Example :- If I had had time, I should have completed my homework.

  • Imaginary conditional sentences :- Imaginary conditional snetence refers to those condition which might have been fulfilled if the speaker was in that place (If I were you). Example :- If I were you, I would pass the examination.
