radiation is the process through one object to other object without any medium

conduction is the transfer of heat in which the molecules are moderately packed and can transfer by vibrating of the molecules... it takes place mainly in liquids and sometime in gases too.. it needs a solid medium..

radiation is the transfer of heat in which the molecules are loosely packed and are free to move in the process of transferring... it takes place only in gases.. it doesn't need a medium to transfer heat..
