the process in which heat moves through a gas or a liquid as the hotter part rises and the cooler, heavier part sinks

Conduction is the process by which heat moves in solids.

Eg. Heating of a wooden block

Convection is the process by which heat moves in fluids

*FLUIDS - An object which has the tendency to flow is a fluid. All gases and liquids are fluids.*

Eg - Heating of water.

Radiation is the process by which heat propagates without any medium i.e. it travels in vacuum.

Eg - Heat from the sun travels through vacuum and reaches Earth in approximately 8.5 minutes.

Hope this helps
