Answer:

Connective tissue is one of the four basic types of animal tissue, along with epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, and nervous tissue. It develops from the mesoderm. Connective tissue is found in between other tissues everywhere in the body, including the nervous system. In the central nervous system, the three outer membranes (the meninges) that envelop the brain and spinal cord are composed of connective tissue. All connective tissue consists of three main components: fibers (elastic and collagenous fibers),[1] ground substance and cells. Not all authorities include blood[2] or lymph as connective tissue because they lack the fiber component. All are immersed in the body water. The cells of connective tissue include fibroblasts, adipocytes, macrophages, mast cells and leucocytes.

Answer:

Connective tissue is a part of animal tissue. This tissue connects, supports, binds, or separates other tissues or organs.

a) ADIPOSE TISSUE: It is found below the skin and between the internal organ. The cells are filled with fat gobules. The storage of fats let it acts as an insulator.

b)BLOOD: It consist of a fluid matrix called plasma. Plasma consist of WBC,RBC, and platelets. Plasma contains proteins, salt and hormones. Blood helps in the transportation of oxygen, carbon dioxide and many other compounds.

c) LYMPH: A colorless fluid which is filtered out of the blood capillaries.

d) BONE: It forms the frame work that supports the body. It is strong and non-flexible and it is embedded in a hard matrix which is composed of calcium and phosphorus.

e) CARTILAGE:  It has widely spaced cells and a solid matrix. It is composed of proteins and sugar. It smoothens bone surfaces at joints. Present in nose, ears, trachea, larynx etc.

f) TENDON: It connects muscles to bones. It is fibrous and has great strength but limited flexibility.

g)LIGAMENT: It connects 2 bones. It is very elastic and has very little matrix.
