Connective tissues are those tissues which cover the major portions of the body and connects all the tissue and organs.

Functions of connective tissues are:-

*It connects structure.

*It forms packing around organs.

*To form a supporting framework.

*To combat foreign toxins.

*This tissues helps to repair and replace the damaged tissue or injury.
