i). Most of the resources have limited supply.
ii). Over utilization of resources may lead to environmental problems.
iii). Over utilization of resources may lead to socio-economic problems.
Gandhiji was very apt in voicing his concern about resource conservation. He said, “There is enough for everybody’s need, and not for anybody’s greed.” According to him, it was the greedy and selfish individuals who were responsible for depletion of resources. He was in favour of producing for the masses than mass production.

using resources carefully and giving them time to get renewed is called resource conservation.
it is necessary to conserve resources because-
1) there irrational consumption and over utilisation have led to socio-economic and environmental problems.
2) it takes million of years for the formation of natural resources.
3) natural resources are available in fixed quanitity and they are non - renewable.
Gandhiji said that"There are enough resources to satisfy everybody's need but not enough to satisfy one's greed
hope it helps:)
