Answer:

This is the function of the constitution. It is an authority that constitutes government in the first place. The second function of a constitution is to specify who has the power to make decisions in a society. It decides how the government will be constituted.

Constitution

A constitution is an aggregate of fundamental principles or established precedents that constitute the legal basis of a polity, organisation or other type of entity and commonly determine how that entity is to be governed.

Functions

The Constitution has three main functions.

1.legislative - The main functions of the Legislative Council include enacting laws, approving public expenditure and monitoring the work of the Government.

2. executive - The primary function of executive is to enforce laws and to maintain law and order in the state. Each government department is responsible for the implementation of the laws and policies concerning its work.

3.judiciary - One of the major functions of the judiciary is to interpret and apply laws to specific cases. In the course of deciding the disputes that come before it, the judges interpret and apply laws. Every law needs a proper interpretation for getting applied to every specific case. This function is performed by the judges.
