CONTACT FORCE -
_______________
contact forces are those which come into play beacuse of some physical contact between two bodies .
TYPES -
______
the different types of contact forces are :-
1) FORCE OF FRICTION - it is the opposing force which acts on a body moving over another body
2) NORMAL REACTION FORCE- when an object is kept over a body it exerts a force downwards equal to its Weight. the sirface in turn exerts an equal and opposite force on the body perpendicular to the surface . this is called normal reaction force .
3) TENSIONAL FORCE - the opposite force which acts on a string when an object is suspended with it.
4) SPRING FORCE - the restoring force which acts on a spring when it is compressed or pulled.
