Control refers to compare the actual performance with standard set. It is the last function of management and related to planning. It plays an important role in managerial decisions making without it, management may in problems.
Planning and control are related to each other as in planning goals are set and then other function of management works on that and last what performance is done it is done by control...
Second if control is not proper, there is any mistake in control and then next year planning also become wrong...because in control reports are making which helps the management in planning of next year. Hence if planning of next year is prepared from wrong report it also become wrong.. And makes lossez in business

The control unit of the central processing unit regulates and integrates the operations of the computer. It selects and retrieves instructions from the main memory in proper sequence and interprets them so as to activate the other functional elements of the system at the appropriate moment.
