What is conversion of energy ? explain energy of conversion by giving three example.
Answers
We know that, energy neither can be created nor can be destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another form and this changing of energy from one form to another is called the conversion of energy.
Energy conversion is the process of transformation of energy from one form to another form. Any change in energy can be performed only by removing or adding energy in it.
Such as,
1) When we kick on a football then its potential energy changes into kinetic energy.
2) When we switch on a bulb then the electrical energy consumed in it changes into the light energy.
3) When we use a speaker then the electrical energy consumed in it changes into the sound energy.
Energy can be converted from one form to another. Examples: Gasoline (chemical) is put into our cars, and with the help of electrical energy from a battery, provides mechanical (kinetic) energy. Purchased electricity is fed into our TVs and is converted to light and sound.
