Concave mirror is a spherical mirror in which Mirror is hollow from reflecting side and outer surface is painted. It is also known as converging mirror.

example - Torch, etc.

Convex mirror is spherical mirror in which Mirror is hollow from painted side. it is also known as a diverging mirror.
