CORIOLIS EFFECT OR CORIOLIS FORCE

★IT IS AN APPARENT FORCE CAUSED BY THE EARTH'S ROTATION.

★THE CORIOLIS FORCE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEFLECTING WINDS TOWARDS THE RIGHT IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE.

★ DEFLECTING WINDS TOWARDS THE LEFT IN SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE.

Here is your answer....

Coriolis efffect:

The winds move slightly to the right in the Northern hemisphere and to the left in the southern hemisphere.

This is because of the impact of Earth rotation on its own axis. This effect is called Coriolis effect.

It has zero effect near the equator and maximum effect near the poles.

It may help you ...... ☺☺
