Due to impact of earth's rotation on its own axis the winds move slightly to the rightl in the northern hemisphere. And to the left in Southern hemisphere this effect is coriolis effect.

Answer:
1) We should except the winds to move in a straight line from North to South or South to North from the North temperate zone to the topic Zone.
2) But actually the winds move slightly to the right (towards East) in the Northern hemisphere and to left (towards West) in the southern hemisphere.
3) This is because of the impact of Earth's rotation on its own axis.
4) This effect is called Coriolis Effect, having '0' effect near the equator and the Maximum effect near the poles.
5) Thus the Atmosphere is always in Circulation all around the World.
