Corona is the outermost part of the sun . It is extremly hot . It is made up of hot ionized gas .

Corona is actually consisting plasma .

There goes some place in sun where corona is colder there a coronal hole is formed . we have a lower density of plasma , gases here . Coronal holes occur when the Sun's magnetic field is open to interplanetary space.

Coronal holes are responsible for dischargle of solar winds at a high speed than usual .

Note : Many rumours are there relating corona in that of sun , in that of corona virus . THERE IS NO SUCH LINK BETWEEN THESE TWO .
