Hey mate!!

➡️Factors that affect the rate ofcorrosion. Four elements need to be present for corrosion to occur and collectively referred to as the corrosioncell: an anode (+), a cathode (-), a metallic conductor and an electrolyte. Changing the potency of the electrolyte affects the rate ofcorrosion.

HERE IS UR ANS BUDDY...

Corrosion is a natural process that converts a refined metal into a more chemically-stable form such as oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide. It is the gradual destruction of materials by chemical and/or electrochemical reaction with their environment.

Factors are:-

More the reactivity of metal, the more will be the possibility of the metal getting corroded.

The impurities help in setting up voltaic cells, which increase the speed of corrosion.

Presence of electrolytes in water also increases the rate of corrosion.
